Melanie McDiarmid Nelson, PhD is the Executive Director of PCIT International Association and a PCIT International Certified Global Trainer. She has extensive experience training, supervising, and consulting in PCIT across the United States and internationally. Dr. Nelson previously held academic and clinical training roles for many years at the University of Florida and the University of Oklahoma. Her work now centers on organizational leadership and large-scale PCIT and TCIT-U implementation, supporting high-fidelity practice across systems serving young children, including those with ADHD, Autism, and other disruptive behavior concerns.
