Dr. Natalie Goulter is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Developmental Psychopathology Lab at Flinders University. Dr. Goulter’s research program aims to advance the understanding, prediction, and prevention of externalising psychopathology in young people. Specifically, her research aims to: elucidate early etiological profiles contributing to the emergence of externalising psychopathology, including parent-child dynamics and emotional functioning; understand specific biological processes underpinning externalising psychopathology, focusing on neuroendocrine and epigenetic variation; and mobilise knowledge from this developmental work to inform and evaluate clinical interventions. Dr Goulter is an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Psychopathology and Clinical Science, Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, Research on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, and the International Journal of Behavioral Development.
