Teresa M. Goff, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida and a PCIT-Certified Therapist. Dr. Goff completed her doctoral internship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute through the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology, where she provided behavioral and developmental services within pediatric and integrated care settings. Her clinical and scholarly work focuses on adapting evidence-based interventions, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, to better serve children with developmental, cognitive, and communication differences and the caregivers who support them. Dr. Goff has specialized training in PCIT, integrated behavioral health, and interdisciplinary models of care for children with complex behavioral and developmental presentations. She is a graduate of the LEND Autism Leadership Academy, where she received advanced training in interdisciplinary leadership and service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Her professional interests center on increasing access to evidence-based treatments while maintaining fidelity to core treatment principles and supporting caregivers through practical, skill-based coaching approaches. Dr. Goff is actively involved in community outreach, professional dissemination, and trainee mentorship and is passionate about expanding the reach of PCIT and other evidence-based services to populations historically underrepresented in traditional treatment models.
