Britney Duner is a behavioral health therapist at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, College of Medicine, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology with a minor in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities (2011) and a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago (2013). She is currently a doctoral student at Barry University, pursuing a Doctor of Social Work, anticipated Fall 2026, and received PCIT therapist certification in April 2024. Her clinical focus includes Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), child behavioral challenges, parent skills training, childhood and attachment trauma, and anxiety. She is actively engaged in research examining the effectiveness of PCIT on caregiver oxytocin levels, autonomic reactivity, and parent-child attachment. Recognized for her contributions to clinical care and research, she was named Employee of the Year 2024 in the Department of Psychiatry at UF Jacksonville.
