Shawna Standiford, M.Ed., LPC, earned her Masters degree in professional counseling from the University of Oklahoma. Currently she is a Psychological Clinician at the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect/Child Study Center at OU Health (OUH) in Oklahoma City, OK. She specializes in the treatment of selective mutism (SM), behavioral problems, and preventative infant mental health. Ms. Standiford is certified in PCIT-SM and is trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). Ms. Standiford is the Director of SM services, including Mighty Mouth Kids - OKC (MMK-OKC), at OUH. Further, she is certified in evidence-based interventions for children with disruptive disorders, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and children that have a history of adverse experiences, Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up (infant and toddler models).
