Dr. Megan Bird is a postdoctoral fellow at of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine - Knoxville Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Idaho State University and completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her clinical focus includes the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with disruptive behaviors, trauma histories, and involvement in the child welfare system. Dr. Bird provides evidence-based treatment using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent–Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She is a PCIT Certified Therapist and Within Agency Trainer.
