Brittany Schaffner, IMFT‑S, LPCC‑S, is a Behavioral Health Clinical Training Supervisor in the Behavioral Health Education and Training Department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In this role, she supports clinical training programs, provides supervision to developing behavioral health professionals, and partners with interdisciplinary teams and system stakeholders to strengthen educational and training initiatives across the Behavioral Health Service Line. She is dedicated to strengthening clinical practice and advancing the delivery of high-quality relationship-centered care across services. Her professional experience spans direct clinical care, organizational consultation, and training development. Her work focuses on helping clinicians build strong skills in engaging and partnering with families, as well as developing internal infrastructures that promote the sustainment of evidence-based practice. Clinically trained as a family therapist, Brittany became a certified Parent‑Child Interaction Therapist in 2015. She is also a Level 1 Certified PCIT Trainer. In addition to her clinical and training leadership, she serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Ohio State University, supporting undergraduate students exploring behavioral health career paths.
