Alisa Bahl, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Children's Hospital (UVA Health Children's). Dr. Bahl is an enthusiastic Regional Trainer in Training and has over 25 years of experience providing PCIT to children and families, in addition to training graduate students and therapists to become PCIT Certified Therapists. Dr. Bahl's graduate education was with Dr. Cheryl McNeil at West Virginia University, followed by internship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute for Human Development at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, post-doctoral training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Bahl’s specialties are in PCIT and disruptive behavior disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and challenging behavior, as well as in behavioral pediatrics addressing noncompliance, tantrums, sleep problems, and toileting.
