Dr. Corinna Klein is an Assistant Professor in the department of Psychology and Child Development at California Polytechnic State University. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical social worker and a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy within-agency trainer with extensive experience providing PCIT to young children with a variety of clinical presentations. She has expertise in perinatal mental health care and treatment for families facing perinatal stressors such as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) stay or birth trauma. She completed her doctoral internship in the University of California Los Angeles’s Stress, Trauma, and Resilience Clinic, treating youth and families healing from trauma. As a postdoctoral scholar, she treated parents during and following extended NICU stays within UCLA’s Family Development Program. Her research focuses on increasing equitable access to evidence-based children’s mental health care and supporting parents through dyadic treatments.
