Tabitha Fleming, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Campus (OUHC) and a licensed psychologist. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Texas Tech University and completed her internship training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her clinical work includes evidence-based and trauma-informed assessment and intervention for children of varied developmental functioning levels who have experienced traumatic events and/or exhibit behavioral difficulties. Her research focuses on avenues to advance effective parenting attitudes, expectations, and behaviors, in addition to adaptations of evidenced-based care to meet the needs of families with marginalized identities and children with developmental differences. Dr. Fleming is a PCIT Within-Agency Trainer actively working on her Regional Trainer candidacy. She directs the PCIT Training Program at OUHC.
