Kate C. Bennett, DSW, LCSW is a clinical leader, educator, and Certified Regional Trainer in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She serves as Chair of the PCIT International Training Task Force and is deeply committed to advancing high-quality training, fidelity, and global dissemination of PCIT across diverse settings. Her work centers on competency-based supervision, trainer and therapist development, and expanding access to evidence-based care for young children and families.

Dr. Bennett is also a CARE (Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement) Facilitator, rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and a DC:0–5 trainer with ZERO TO THREE. With a strong passion for early childhood mental health, she focuses on developmentally grounded, relationship-based interventions -- including PCIT-Toddlers and other dyadic models that support infants, young children, and caregivers. She is particularly interested in embedding these relationship-based interventions within pediatric primary care and community systems to strengthen early intervention efforts.

Known for her collaborative and engaging teaching style, Dr. Bennett blends clinical depth with practical application and a touch of fun. She believes learning is most powerful when it is relational, interactive, and infused with warmth and a bit of whimsy.
