Dr. Jessica Warren is an experienced registered Psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in trauma, behavioural and emotional difficulties, and complex mental health presentations. Jessica began her career in public mental health and disability services, where she developed strong expertise in evidence based assessment and intervention. She is a published author in the field of early childhood trauma, with doctoral research focused on adapting Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for trauma affected young children.
In addition to her clinical practice, Jessica is a senior executive within the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, where she leads strategic planning for the Psychological and Specialist Services team. Overseeing approximately half of the state, she is responsible for guiding service priorities, developing statewide practice initiatives, and ensuring high quality, trauma informed psychological care for vulnerable children, young people, and families. Jessica provides expert clinical leadership and direction to multidisciplinary teams and plays a key role in shaping policy, supporting workforce capability, and enhancing outcomes for those involved in the child protection system.
