Cheryl B. McNeil, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida. Her academic interests are focused on program development and evaluation, specifically with regard to managing the challenging behaviors of young children in both the home and school settings. Dr. McNeil has completed numerous grants, written seven books, and published over 150 research articles examining the efficacy of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) across a variety of settings (e.g., dentistry) and populations (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder).
