Dr. Marisa D. Serchuk is a Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow at the Boston Child Study Center, where she provides supervised direct care to children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Serchuk is a certified PCIT Therapist by PCIT International.
Dr. Serchuk earned her B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Education, from SUNY Albany before earning her master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Illinois Institute of Technology. While in graduate school, Dr. Serchuk’s research focused on how various forms of stigma impact parents/caregivers of children with mental health challenges. She additionally engaged in various clinical-based research projects at University of Chicago Medicine related to PCIT. She completed her predoctoral internship at Andrus Health and Wellness Centers.
