Kourtney Schroeder, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville. A North Florida native, Dr. Schroeder earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Ascension St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Center Residency Program. Dr. Schroeder is certified as a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) therapist. She specializes in working with children and families, with a particular focus on those impacted by trauma and adversity. Dr. Schroeder became PCIT-certified in 2024 and is currently pursuing certification as a Within-Agency Trainer.
